How can I keep my husband from watching porn and focus on me? Should I be upset that he does and should he compare me to others he has been with in his past? "Dear Frustrated-

Is your husband watching porn in private or does he try to share watching it with you and want you to like it? Does him watching it make him uninterested in sex? I don't think anyone should compare anyone sexually, it's cruel and can only lead to insecurities. Insecurities lead to a breakdown in the connection. His watching porn and getting off alone would be kinda like you cooking a steak and eating it in his face! Without being able to talk with the both of you, I'd say that speaking your mind in a way that expressing how his behavior makes you feel is the most important thing. Try not to criticize but instead pose a solution and put some spice in the relationship. Try saying this: "I'm trying to be open minded and I know a lot of people are really turned on by porn, but Im more turned on by you. How can we get more in tuned to what each other wants sexually? Why don't you write down something you'd like me to do to you and I will do the same and we can have a nice dinner, some wine, and swap notes."
